Policy of Persuasion Online Course

This course is designed to teach your student the format and theories of debate in context with a classical approach to persuasion. The act of persuasive speaking, especially through debate, have proven to create the benefits of research skills, critical thinking, and reasoning… all which enhance performance in many other areas from academics to life.

It is my personal belief that that all of these skills equip Christians to be able to truly give an answer for the reason of the hope that is in them.

I’m a shy kid turned comm teacher. I have a BA, MA, + a little post-grad in performing arts and comm studies. I spent several years teaching public speaking and performing arts on the collegiate level, while also serving as the faculty advisor and traveling as a debate coach. Marriage and babies shifted my career from a full-time teacher to homemaker/keeper + teacher at home.

I currently homeschool my three children, teach communication + theater in our amazing co-op, coach debate for our homeschool community, and adjunct part-time at a local college in the upstate of SC.
