Debate Camp 2026 Enrollment Open!

Policy of Persuasion is a 5.5-day policy debate intensive camp for homeschooled teens. Students go from zero debate experience to competing in two full rounds by Saturday morning — all through a Christian, classical, and practical approach to persuasion.
The camp follows NCFCA rules and focuses on the resolution for the 2026-27 school year. Completing the camp can count as ½ high school credit and makes students eligible to join the Upstate Area Debate Club for continued practice and competition. (UADC meets weekly on Wednesdays in downtown Greenville and is a great way to keep sharpening skills and gaining high school credit!)
What the Week Looks Like
Monday — Intro to debate and logic
Tuesday — Stock issues and affirmative case writing
Wednesday — Affirmative case workshop, negative philosophy and strategy, flowing
Thursday — Speaking responsibilities, speech delivery, what to expect in a round, reading ballots
Friday — Speech coaching, debate round prep, and practice rounds
Saturday — Back-to-back debate rounds. Every camper debates both sides of the resolution!
Evenings at home will include case writing and research to prepare for the next day — just want to be upfront about that!
